You’ve come to the right place: I am an Alberta certified teacher with over 20 years teaching experience. I have taught in the classroom in both Alberta and Africa, as a distance education teacher and also as a university lab instructor. I love working with students in all environments and recognize the challenges and benefits that come from online learning. 

My passion and experience lies in working with students in Grades 10-12 on math and science concepts and areas of difficulties so that they can continue to grow and confidently pursue their goals. Through the struggles and triumphs of my students throughout the years, I’ve come to understand the common pitfalls and misunderstandings that may trip up students. My tutoring style is based on the individual needs of the learners; I work closely with my students to foster an environment where questions are encouraged, mistakes are seen as opportunities, and time is spent on the areas that will help the students reach success in the long term.

I offer one-on-one online tutoring sessions, as well as online group course preparation sessions and online group final exam prep. I provide a welcoming, patient, and kind environment in all of my sessions, as well as extra course materials.
